Usually, there’s nothing wrong with saying sorry. Apologizing is what you’re supposed to do when you’re in the wrong. Yet in a study* about gender differences, it shows that women are 37% more likely than men to see their behavior in need of an apology…which leads to women apologizing more frequently than men.
This also in turn “feeds the fire” for women who “don’t apologize enough”, labeling them as bossy or something worse. This video isn’t to show that apologizing is wrong, but asking everyone to think about not over-apologizing. Being secure in who you are and know what you want is a beautiful thing.
