2 guys decided to break the world record for BASE jumping by leaping from the Burj Khalifa, which is the world’s tallest building. Vince Reffet and Fred Fugen sure had the guts to do this, but on their way down, they also exhibited some life-threatening tricks that only the most extreme would attempt.

“BASE” is actually an acronym that stands for Buildings, Antennas, Spans, and Earth, which indicates the different types of objects BASE jumpers enjoy leaping from.

I would be scared to pieces, but these two call this “fun.”  The one thing I do know is that has got to be  enough adrenaline to last a few lifetimes!

The Burj Khalifa building is the tallest man made structure in the world that stretches 2722 feet high. To put this into perspective, the height is 7 football fields end-to-end and nearly half a mile high. No one has attempted jumping from a building this tall before until now.  What you see below may be the most extreme sport that anyone has ever attempted and it’s unbelievable!
